'Biodynamic' term is derived from 'bios' i.e. biology & 'dynamic' i.e. energy. Therefore, 'Biodynamic' agriculture considers the living ecosystem with in atmosphere, simultaneously also takes into onsideration the influence of 'Cosmic energy', because elemental nutrient acts as building material for growth, repair & reproduction whereas cosmic energy acts as life force in all the living organisms including plants.

Vedic principles & concepts explains deep relationship between cosmic objects & living organisms. All the living organisms on Earth are influenced by a set of objects viz. Planets in our solar system, Constellations & Zodiac in the cosmos. Therefore, vedic principle considers that forces between various cosmic objects in entire universe determines different phenomenon, continuously happening in varous regions including Earth in our solar system. Climate & weather as well as growth & behaviour are determined by the resultant forces on different living organisms at all the time during its life span.

A seed produced in a natural environment without any synthetic inputs and/or without practicing any artificial (unnatural) methods is termed as Organic Seed. Oppen pollinated seeds proced with above concept is organic seed.

Open pollinated seed is obtained from naturally pollinated crop. All other scientific principles & methods of seed production is practiced but without any interference in its natural pollination process. Open pollinated seed may be from a cross-pollinated crop seed plot and/or from a self-pollinated crop seed plot.

Literal meaning of the term 'heirloom' means the seeds of a cultivar in a crop is traditionally coming through generations of a pheasant family. However, the genetic qualitative parameters are continously improoved through the generations for desirable charecters with stronger traits by selection breeding method.

Hybrid seed is termed as 'F1 Hybrid' because seed is obtained from the crop generation, in which cross pollination between the male & female lines is 'managed', means the either natural cross pollination is allowed with in restricted plant population with in male & female lines or pollens are collected from flowers of male line & cross pollination manually in the flowers of female line. In 'hybrid' breeding process, dominant desirable charecters are accumulated through generations of crossing, selfing & selection breeding, into two sets as 'male' & 'female' line. Crossing of 'male' & 'female' lines produces set of dominant charecters in the F1 generation seeds. It is termed as F1 Hybrid because this is the final generation, which is having all the desirable charecters combined into one set.

GMO means "Genetically Modified Organism", in which a gene or set of genes having control on a specific desirable charecter in an organism, is extracted (sucked) from the nucleous of it's cells and then introduced (combined) by physically injecting the same in the nucleous of cells in the organism, in which that charecter is desired. This process is called genetic engineering. Evolution is a continuous, natural process, where genetic modification do happen thru adaptation, crossing & mutation. However, it is generally restricted intra-species, although it may happen inta-genous also. But in GM technique, there is no restriction of boundry of Genus or Species. Even, genes of desirable charecters from an organism from plant kingdom can be injected in nucleus of an organism in animal kingdom and vice-vesa. Hence it can be so diverse that in future, it may lead to "GENE POLLUTION".

Sunlight during day time & Moonlight during night time, through it's rays, is the primary source cosmic energy on Earth. However, cosmic energy is emitted by all the cosmic objects, whatever farthest or nearest position from the Earth. These energies are in the form of gravitational forces working between Earth & the respective cosmic object and other forms of eneries which are emitted and/or reflected on to the earth's surface. Moonlight is received on Earth at its fullest intensity during fullmoon nights, whereas it is zero during newmoon nights. All such energy forms have influence on specific plant pert and/or entire plant; for example, Moon's influence is on radial growth of root & shoot from the center (germinated seed). Moon's gravitational force also influence sap movement in the plant; upward movement of sap during waxing phase & downward movement during waning phase. Similarly, influence of inner planets is on vegetative growth i.e. Sun inluences growth of vegetative parts such as stem & branches, Mercury & Venus influence phylotaxy (leaf formation, shape & arrangement) whereas outer planets (those planets which are orbiting outside Earth's orbit) have influence on reproductive parts like Mars on flowering, pollination & ovule fertilization, Jupiter on fruit formation, maturity & ripening and Saturn influence on seed formation, maturity & vigor. The 9 planets (navagrah), 12 Zodiac signs & 27 Constellations have been categoriesed into four groups Viz. Fire, Earth, Light/Air & Water, based on their affinity to respective elements. These celestial bodies have influence on growth of various plant parts as per their element viz. Fire for Fruits & Seeds, Earth for Roots, Air/Light for Flowers & Water for Leaves.

Cosmic energy is the driving force (Life force) in all living organisms, including animals. There are many examples of different animals' specific behaviour during certain celetial phenomena. For Crabs (Cancer) have influence of Moon during waxing - waning phases in the peculiar behaviour. Dung beetle's movement path is determined by influence of Mars. path. Honeybee movement & cell formation has signature of solar influence. There are many more such examples...

Plants are the primary source of nutrition for us, both in mass & energy forms. Our body gets building materials & life force along with medicines, clothes & shelter for protection of our body both internally & externally.

Every person is living under direct and/or indirect influence of energies emitted from plants as per respective triangular relationship between the person, his zodiac sign, constelation & planet which may be common with certan specific plant(s).
